hey, is there any reason why you don`t create modded drivers for creative headsets?

But a wreck with injuries and damages involving a tractor trailer comes laden with many factors unknown to the everyday driver. The concrete used for countertops is a lot firmer than regular old cement so you will need to press it hard and compact it well in the form.

Hiiii…
previously I posted a question on this blog that…..i needed the image file of the installation CD package for my sound card Sound Blaster Audigy SE(SB0570). Then the owner of this blog told me to download the installation CD rar file for Sound Blaster Audigy LS and also told me that Sound Blaster Audigy SE and Audigy LS are both sold under the same name Audigy LS. Accrording to him i did downloaded the installation CD. But to my surprise, the software package wasnt getting installed at all as because the error said that “setup cannot find Sound Blaster LS on your PC, make sure your hardware is attached properly.” Soooo i would request you to provide me with the installation CD for my sound card only that is Sound Blaster Audigy SE(model number : SB0570). Thanx in advance.

Hmm… the Creative driver availability chart shows the SB0570 as clearly being Live24/Value/LS version. The Google image result for SB0570 shows Live24/Value/LS. There are an alarming amount of Audigy SE 7.1 images being shown there though. Creative have notoriously sold the same boards under different names for years. The Audigy SE aren’t hardware Audigy either – they are 100% software driven. Boo!

The only thing I can think of, is that perhaps a “Creative Audigy SE 7.1” installer would work better for you. Failing that perhaps take a photo of the sound card PCB….

Good luck!

Hiiii…
well, for your information, I already have downloaded the driver you said above with the name SB24_VTDRV_LB_1_04_0077.exe. And the second one suggested by you works for higher Operating Systems only, like Windows Vista and Seven. And as per the things requested by you, i.e. the photo of the Sound card PCB, please tell me at which place should I upload the pic. of my sound card. You tell me the place where i can upload my sound card PCB’s pic., so that you can have a look at it and thus you can help me in downloading the right image file for the whole installation CD.
Thanks in advance.

nomoregoatsoup

You can upload it anywhere you like… http://tinypic.com/ for example. There’s always places like yfrog too.

Once we’re sure it’s a SB0570, we can perhaps find a driver which will allow the software to install with it. That is, if we can find XP applications!

I’ve seen simple things like device name changes cause problems. Once I installed a driver which changed the device id from “Soundblaster Live!” to Soundblaster Live! WDM”. The equaliser, and other software wouldn’t install with the WDM driver version. Simple changes in device identification can cause problems. Creative sometimes “forget” to include them too.

I suspect this card might be a OEM re-badged SB0575 or something strange. In which case HP, Dell or somebody should have the software available for download.

Hello, i have an old CT4832 that i don’t want to throw away because it served me well and still working perfect, i do use the x-fi modded driver on my audigy SE and i was hopping if there a way to make the CT4832 work on win 7 64 bits.

thank you

Last time I tried Live! series on Windows 7, I wasn’t happy. I think “onboard” audio is better than Live cards in Windows 7.😦

My Live was super quiet with Vista and Windows 7.

The Creative control centre software will cause too many blue screens and annoying software bugs too.

SB Live + Windows XP =🙂
SB Live + Windows 7 =😦

i really dont need any creative control center, just the driver to work on win 64 but with the advanced settings in the “volume control” for bass and treble.

and to be set for headset if possible for a louder volume.

These are the links of where i uploaded the pics of my sound card. Observe it carefully. And then I would be sure that you wont blame me for that, my sound cards model number is not SB0570. Well, So i would need the original installation CD image for this sound card. The one I have shown in the pics above. See the pics…and then give me your feedback.!
Thanx.

It’s an Audigy LS, Vinit. It contains the CA0106 chip. UGH!!!! I’ve only ever played with EMU10K1 series driver.

CA0106 is probably the most problematic driver Creative ever released, It’s terrible under Windows XP. I’m sure onboard sound would work better.

Even if you found a disc image it would be at least 8 years old.

The software I was able to find is listed below

This DELL integrated solution software may work:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats?DriverId=K20JX&FileId=2731093409

So might the Mitsubishi brand.
http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOUND-CARD/OTHER-SOUNDCARDS/MSI-K9N-Diamond-Creative-CA0106-Audigy-Driver-5121519.shtml

It may not install – but contains the correct files for your chipset

Sorry, been away for a while & askimet spam removal removed your posts…

Good Luck

Got a Sound Blaster Audigy 4 pro, had it for time, woked fine with XP… Recently got windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, now the software has lost most of its funtions, including recording through line 3, lost graphic equaliser and treble/bass controls… Can you please help, you seem to know the crack. In my eyes Creative purposely ‘fix’ their updates!!!

No More Goat Soup

Heya. Most people find daniel_k’s Support Pack 3.8 is the best that you’ll get. I can’t guarantee the Audigy 4 will work 100% as intended – but it’s got more to offer than the rest of the software solutions available. I know for a fact; it contains Graphic Equalizer version 2.00.65. One easy install and voila – you’re good to go. Hope it helps!

Cheers, friend.. Also I have just noticed that my hardware is model number SB0290, it is definetely a SB 4 pro, but when I search for this model it is also listed as Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum eX and Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro… Is this a problem??

3 02 2012
No More Goat Soup

Yes I always thought the SB0290 was Audigy 2-EX. Perhaps is was re-badged or something. It’s not unheard of for Creative to rename their PCB models.

Either way they both contain EMU10K2 processors. The Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro is just an Audigy 2 ZS with Cirrus Logic CS4398 ADC. It has slightly better SNR, but very little difference.

The software in the link above will work with both models.
Good Luck!🙂

Thanks again friend, it would appear that the biggest task would be to uninstall ALL of the Creative apps, drivers and registery entries, oh well… OH, one last thing before I get on with this… (totally unrelated) I’m having trouble with Pinnacle Liquid Pro drivers too. Do you have any knowledge of them? It would appear that Pinnacle/Avid use the same ‘update/patch’ policy as Creative!!! HA

3 02 2012
No More Goat Soup

Sorry, I can’t help much with Pinnacle Liquid Pro. I’ve never even used them. I’ve only learnt what little I know (about Creative) from the user forums.

However, I do recall people having incompatibility problems installing under Vista x64. I don’t know if it is of any use, but the following link claims the “allow unsigned drivers” trick works.

http://community.avid.com/forums/t/48038.aspx

Best of luck!

OK, just so you know…. I have managed to restore my graphic equaliser using this driver package, however, I have lost the THX setup and lost full use of the surround mixer, and speaker set-up doesn’t recognise my speaker configuration anymore!!! So all-in-all I’ve lost more than I’ve gained.. Thanks anyway for your work.

@No More Goat Soup…
Well i am much more thankful to you for providing me the needfull. But am wondering whether no one in the world bought this same sound card ever or what ? And if they have purchased it, dont they have the CD with them of it or what ? So what do you recommend to me, for having the Equalizer effect for it ? The Dell one or the Mitsubishi one ? Thanx in advance.!:)

Ive been looking for the SB X-fi Xtreme Audio thing for some hours now. But there is one final Question: Is there any way to enable Stereo Mix/What u Hear? Or is it “illegal” for you to help me out? This totally sucks… Thank you for your help.

SoundDisaster Live

I hope that the site owner is not dead and someone answers this:
A few years ago a guy modded the X-FI MB audio solution to work on ANY sound card (like Realtek ,AD, VIA ones etc) and cracked the software to not check if the motherboard was licensed to use and be able to install on any PC and get all the X-Fi features emulated in software
(Yeah thats right, the CMSS3D, crystalizer and so on will work on any soundcard, be it an Audigy SE, you can even get an ISA Soundblaster 16 it would probabilly work with all XFi features in software)
So motherboard vendors put crap soundcards on motherboards and call it a different cool name just because they paid creative to be able to install a piece of software.
I was wondering if you can provide that software to work on any card, since megaupload went down, this leaked sw got lost in the depths of the internet all I found was an unstable not working version for Windows 7 32 bit, Wondering if you could find it for XP or 64 bit 7.
Because I actually own an XFi xtreme music and really like the CMSS3D and crystalizer (people that dislike it dont know how to use them properly I can give a detailed tuturial about properly using them) but it is PCI and only works on my Pentium 4 system that is slow and wastes 500W of power, I was hoping to play games with the same features in my laptop that is faster and consumes only 20W!
Also if anyone is reading this I am looking forward to purchase an A3D capable sound card, since good quality ones are a bit hard to get on ebay.
Cheers!
